Our Lady of Pines Parish of Nevis, used to be known as Immaculate Conception until 2002. The Parish used the Woodlawn Catholic Cemetery until 1954 or 1956. Since then, a portion of Lakeview Cemetery on Highway 18 has been used as the active Catholic cemetery. It was known as Immaculate Conception Lakeside Catholic Cemetery, but now called the Lakeside Catholic Cemetery.
Head west on County 18 from the intersection of County 2 and County 18 in Nevis. Go one mile and turn right at the number post 24411, cross over the Heartland Trail and you will see the cemetery cross. |
Woodlawn Catholic Cemetery has 13 burials. May God grand them eternal rest!
